Ground Plans Approved!

Sefton Council approves Maghull Football Club expansion

The club will build two covered stands at the site to provide 100 seats and standing room for 100 spectators.

Proposals also include the creation of two covered dugouts and a turnstile entrance.

These changes will allow the club to be permitted by the FA to play in the next tier of local football if they were to finish in a suitable league position come the end of the season.

Maghull FC took residence at Tommy Gent Way in 1954.

The application was approved by a vote of 12 to 1 and the Club are now very excited to be putting plans into action as soon as possible.
