Huge Win Against Local Rivals!

Maghull 2 – 1 FC Bootle

This weekend saw the 1st team edge a fantastic game in the County Cup Quarter Finals against our friends and local rivals FC Bootle with manager Phile Roe looking to gt one over on his old club the boys dug deep and came out victorious sealing their plce in the Semi Final of the competition.

It must be said that this was a fantastic game played in good spirits, the huge crowd that made their way down Tommy Gent Way will not have been disappointed.

A great day also for our U7 side, recently crowned champions of their league, who turned out as Mascots on the day, a great experience for them. Huge thanks to Players, Managers & Officials who all made a fuss of the boys and made this a day to remember.

We look forward to welcoming FC Bootle back in a few weeks time for the Semi Final of the Pyke Cup.
